Vivo X30 PRO 12GB Version appears on TENAA

Vivo just launched the Vivo X30 series, comprising of X30 and X30 Pro in China, with support for dual-mode 5G and Exynos 980 SoC. At the time of launch, the brand announced only two available versions of Vivo X30 Pro i.e. 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB storage configurations.

Now a new 12GB + 512GB storage variant pops up on the TENAA, which is hinting towards its nearby launch too. Currently, the phone is up for pre-booking on the Vivo e-shop online and is set to go on sale on December 24. Vivo website also offers the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage option as the top-end model. This model costs CNY 4,298 (roughly Rs.43,500), so definitely the 12GB RAM option will be available at a higher cost.


The Vivo X30 series is the first series of the company to have the support for dual-mode 5G, which enables 5G connectivity on both SA (standalone) and NSA (non-standalone) networks.

The Vivo X30 Pro 5G is having a battery life of 4,350mAh along with 33W Flash Charge support. As far as the connectivity options are concerned, these include USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and 5G support. The Vivo X30 Pro 5G both are having the same measure of 158.45×74.10×8.80mm, and weigh 196.5 grams.

The Vivo X30 Pro 5G operates on Funtouch OS 10 based on Android 9.0 and feature a 6.44-inch full-HD + (1080×2400 pixels) Super AMOLED display. Exynos 980 octa-core SoC powers the smartphone, paired with 8GB RAM. Moreover, now the internal storage is available in 128GB and 256GB options. The phone is having an in-display fingerprint sensor and also supports face unlock system

As far as cameras are concerned, both X30 and X30 Pro have a similar set of three cameras plus an additional 13MP periscope camera on the Pro variant which can capture up to 60x pictures. The other cameras comprise of a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 32MP depth-sensing camera.
