Realme C2 recently debuted in India this year with features like MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, a 6.1-inch display with a notch & a 4,000mAh battery. It seems that Realme is all set to launch its successor now.
A couple of unannounced Realme smartphones appeared on the website of IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority), a Singapore telecommunications regulator of sorts. These two smartphones are Realme 5i and the Realme C3.
Judging by its name and model number, Realme C3 would be the successor of Realme C2 whereas Realme 5i would be the successor of Realme 3i which was launched this year.
Moreover, the certification suggests that the Realme C3 is coming with the model number RMX1941, whereas the Realme 5i is having RMX2030 as its model number. Unfortunately, the certification does not provide us with even a single hint about its specifications, but we can predict them by looking at its predecessors.
The Realme C2 is having Helio P22 SoC. Therefore, it won’t be a surprise if the Realme C3 features a better SoC from MediaTek of Qualcomm. Moreover, if the company decided to go for a MediaTek SoC, it could be the Helio P60.
On the other side, Realme 3i launched houses Helio P60, so again, if Realme is planning to go with MediaTek SoC this time as well, then SoC’s like the Helio P70, Helio P65, etc. could be a good choice.
The appearance of Realme 5i and Realme C3 in IMDA’s database, mark another step nearer to official status. Moreover, we have previously seen it recorded at a lot of different authorities also, and also the RMX2030 model number checks out. Interestingly, we have already seen the Realme 5, 5s, and 5 Pro, and we’re wondering a little just how much room there is for another five i.e. Realme 5i.
As mentioned earlier, in this instance too there are no specifics relating to the phone’s hardware. For more updates, visit our website regularly, and do let us know your views about the two new upcoming Realme smartphones.
