Last month, a new Nokia smartphone with variant TA-1165 which is said to be the successor of Nokia 1 or 1 plus came up in the news by receiving the Bluetooth certification. Moreover, reportedly, it maybe Nokia’s first smartphone, which will be powered by a Unisoc processor. The Bluetooth certification reveals the presence of Bluetooth 4.2 specs and LTE support.
Now, again this variant is in news. This time, the Nokia TA-1165 smartphone variant receives Wi-Fi certification. The certification reveals that the device is a multi-mode smartphone (Wi-Fi and other).
Moreover, it suggests that Nokia TA-1165 will be operating on Android version 9.0. HMD Global has been on a mission to get all its Nokia phones updated to Android Pie. For example, smartphones like Nokia 1, Nokia 5 has already received an update for Android 9.0. Therefore, it is obvious that the brand new Nokia smartphone TA-1165 will be operating on Android 9.0 and the confirmation came with the Wi-Fi certification of the device.
In addition, the smartphone will be operating on a frequency band of 2.4GHz. As of now, there is not much information available about this new variant. However, definitely in the upcoming weeks, we will be getting more particulars related to this device.
Unfortunately, as of now, there is no confirmation regarding the series to which it belongs. However, according to the famous leakster Mukul Sharma @stufflistings, it should be a member of the Nokia 7 series.
However, the name of the smartphone is still unknown. Since the phone is listed on WiFi certification, we think we will also get the name of this Nokia phone soon.
