Lenovo is gearing up to debut in the gaming phone region soon via its Legion brand. The smartphones like Razer, Black Shark, Nubia Red Magic from ZTE, and Asus ROG have initiated a new trend of a gaming smartphone, which has now become a big sensation.
Interestingly, Lenovo has recently set up a new Weibo page and it seems that the Lenovo Legion branded gaming smartphone is coming soon as the company sets up a dedicated social media account for the same.
Besides, the company has already launched a few gaming-centric phones under the Lenovo brand in China. However, the company is now looking to get a more centralized approach by leveraging its expertise to launch a Legion-branded gaming phone.
The Chinese company has set a new Weibo account completely dedicated to gaming phones under the Legion brand. Moreover, the account is verified and Lenovo Mobile Communications Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. owns it, which confirms that the deal is real.
This account will likely be used to share news and details regarding the upcoming Legion-branded gaming phone from Lenovo, but so far, the Weibo account hasn’t shared any details regarding the phone itself.
Though the Weibo account hasn’t shared any details regarding the phone until now, if we have a look at the videos and posts shared so far by the Weibo account, it suggests that another gaming phone is indeed in the queue.
Moreover, earlier in April this year, Chang Cheng, Vice President of Lenovo had revealed that the gaming smartphone from the company could debut next year. Thus, it makes sense for the company the gaming smartphone filed under this brand. However, by now, there is no official confirmation on this, so we need to wait a bit for more info.
