We all are already aware of the fact that Huawei is going to launch the P40 and P40 Pro this coming March without Google services.
Now, a bunch of dark renders of P40 and P40 Pro has surfaced online. We have already seen the rectangular camera module on the Samsung Galaxy A51, Galaxy A71, Vivo V17, and on upcoming Galaxy S11 series. Now, the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro will also feature the same design i.e. rectangular camera module at the back.
The Huawei P40 camera module houses four sensors, whereas the exact number of sensors on the Pro version isn’t known at the moment, though rumors suggest that P40 Pro will be housing a total of five camera sensors.
Reportedly, the P40 is having a flat display with a size of 6.1” or 6.2” and the P40 Pro will be in possession of a ‘waterfall’ type screen that curves on all four sides, measuring 6.5” or 6.7”.
We can observe a change in the corner areas of the metal frame. These changes perhaps are to protect a huge pain point from breaking, as the corners of such a curved screen are more prone to that than other parts. The renders do not show the presence of the punch-hole display or notches yet.
Both the phones will be equipped with USB Type-C ports, SIM card tray, and the speaker grilles at the bottom, while the top region houses a 2mm hole. For Huawei P40 series models, the volume button and the power button will lie on the right spine of the phone.
Reportedly, both the phones will be having an in-display fingerprint scanner and OLED panels. Moreover, P40 Pro could have a mammoth 5500mAh battery going by some past mumblings, supported with 50W fast charging.
Reportedly, Kirin 990 SoC will power P40 Pro, along with 5G support. Moreover, there is confirmation from the official that Android 10 will be powering the EMUI 10, but it will not have any sort of Google services.
