Huawei applies for headset trademark: HUAWEI NovaBuds

Huawei is in news from some time after USA banned them. However, the company came up even stronger by initiated its own HMS, replacing GMS.

According to a new report, now the company Huawei has applied for a new trademark for the headset category. EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office) registered its name as Huawei NovaBuds in the headset category with the trademark ID as EUIPO 018171176.

Notably, the Huawei NovaBud’s trademark application comprises of certain tags like virtual reality gaming augmented headset, mobile phone headset, in-ear headset and more. Moreover, from the perspective of the patent, HUAWEI NovaBuds should be a true wireless Bluetooth headset.

As far as the status of the application is concerned, the application for the trademark is still undergoing review process and we need to wait a bit for detailed information on this.

Unfortunately, additional information is currently not available and details like design and specifications are unknown as of now, due to scarce information. We will have to wait for an official announcement to see if this is Huawei’s entry to the trending wireless earphones market.
